Distant Horizons 2.0 was released a while ago, collaboratively with Iris adding support for shaders on LoD terrain. The effect is truly spectacular - having support for these new rendering features on this shader would greatly improve the visual quality in applicable contexts. I would be especially interested in seeing this shader support it, it being the prettiest minimalistic shader with reasonable performance which in addtion is also Free and Open Souce.

This is the most optimized shader pack that I know, but I also would like to use it with the Distant Horizons mod, it feels like it could work seamlessly with it. Please consider adding support in an update soon!

Since there's so many people interested in this, I'll say that I made a prototype with DH support. It's hard to explain it, but there's some issues with reflections that I think (but may be mistaken) are on DH's part, and I have no time right now to fix it, and it'll probably take a while until I do have that time.

It would be amazing if possible, but that does sound like a lot of work unfortunately. Would it be possible for you to upload the prototype?
