Visible seams in oceans when using Distant Horizons

Hi there Septonious, I love your work on Solas, its IMO the best shader pack on the market, but unfortunately with Distant horizons on the latest version v2.8c, there are obvious seams in the ocean when Distant horizons is enabled. Here's an example of what I mean
Here's the same seam with no shaaders:
The seams are much much harder to see (even with the radial gradient near the player, which I strong suspect is what DH is using normally to avoid this). In the Distant Horizons support discord, a helper mentioned "overdraw blending" (which I suspect is the cause of the ocean gradient in vanilla).
I'm not 100% sure what can be done, Distant Horizons seems to be using a mix of ocean fog in real chunks and overdraw blending, but I'm not sure if those would create an unpleasant look if a strategy like that was used.
