What it does

Super Fast Math is a lightweight Fabric mod designed to enhance the performance of trigonometric calculations in Minecraft. By replacing the standard sine and cosine functions with a precomputed lookup table which is faster computed than a normal table thanks to java FastMath and dynamical initialisation, it significantly reduces computation time, resulting in smoother and faster mathematical operations

Not on curseforge, could still possibly alter gameplay somehow, I don't know how much benefit this is

I've heard OptiFine's Fast Math does affect world generation, so I wonder how this is any different and whether it even has an effect with Lithium.

Rejecting this as lithium already does a similar job on this behalf, See this page to learn more. And also this is rejected due to mod having poor coding quality unfortunately.
