Website doesn't download modded textures (1.20)

I'm assuming you are the one maintaining the website darkomizer.com since this repository is linked on it. I don't know if it's a known bug but downloading a custom pack from there doesn't include mod support for 1.20. Used the website to get a 1.18 pack with custom colors and that one works great and has modded GUI textures. The file on CurseForge "1.20 (2023.7.0)" does however include mod support load the modded textures.
EDIT: My bad, the textures are included in the pack but they don't seem to load properly? The pack is at the top of the selected list, am I just missing something obvious here?
Did some more testing and it seems the custom color packs are quite broken, CF download is 650KB and from the website is 489KB. More screenshots and a full list of mods and their versions. I'm guessing some mods changes how they store/name their GUI textures.
