Without support, the hotbar selector is it's default color, light grey, instead of being darker like it should be with the resource pack.

sorry that this Issue is over a year old but I have just now added support for it today in the release (2025.1.10)! here! https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/default-dark-mode-expansion/versions (use 1.19.0+ of this resource pack for it to work.)

also be aware that this is an Expansion. Basically an Add-on for the original Default Dark Mode resource pack. But anyways enjoy Raised support! ✨
