since NebuIr isn't here currently, I decided to add this mod in!
as of 2024.9.12 release and higher, Mod Support for Firmament is in this Expansion called Default Dark Mode: Expansion https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/default-dark-mode-expansion
this is an Expansion, so I recommend using and keeping the original resource pack from this repo because the Expansion removes all of the assets from NebuIr's repo.

Sorry for the long reply.

The config menu does not have a dark theme, except buttons. I tried to make a dark theme myself but I couldn't find assets for this menu.
Storage menu is fine.

it is it’s own release, Default Dark Mode: Expansion does it’s own thing by adding new assets and replacing outdated textures from the original Default Dark Mode

I’ll do a new release to improve the Firmament mod.

Firmament uses XML for it's guis for the most part (with the exception of the storage overlay), when I tried to do it for my "Skyblock Dark Mode" pack with edits to the XML that should make it dark mode, it just crashes as the two sets of two XML files conflict. This means support must be added from the actual dev of Firmament's side or from a supporting mod that can inject itself somehow to overrule the original mod, at which point you may as well just fork the mod and do it like that as when I contacted the mod's dev they didn't want any changes like that. I tried to find a way without rewriting the whole mod's config system but it would be too difficult for an inexperienced hobby dev like myself.
