i did the thing to have the animated eyes using the texture pack , but when i go to upload the skin , it says that's it's not in the authorized format and that the authorized format are 64x64 and 64x32

Same issue. Seems like the launcher has been patched to not accept modified skins

Ah. Try using the ingame tool from the options? I'm not sure if that's what did it for me, but I do think that gave me a working PNG for my eye type.

You can also open it as a skin in Blockbench rather than as a model file, that will save it as a PNG I think.
