Adding the resourcepack just seems to break some pixels of my skin but doesn't change any body or face animations. Here's a log so that you can take a look at the mods.

Found out this happens when choosing the villager or player option in the mca mod character creation screen, which pops up first thing after creating a new world. You have to choose "vanilla" instead in order for animations to work.
