As I have already read through other reports, you can add multiple eyes to a character, this causes some issues with the simple eyes which go directly on the skin and therefore are always active and caused my 2y2 eyes to look glitched and only partially black. I attempted everything that has been already said and it did not work. the only thing that happened to make it work slightly was removing the pixels that make up the extra eyes, which in my case works since im in singleplayer but makes it a hassel to switch between a skin I can use for multiplayer and back.

Even then the eyelashes did not seem to work properly as when I looked up with the mod and skin the eyelashes would extend.

Not sure if there's a way to toggle which eyes get used and if that would also help the eyeslashes in turn as Im 99% sure that issue has to do with the missing pixels?

Trying to recreate it has yielded no results weirdly enough but here is what I have found with the 2x2 eyelashes extending even with the model that has all pixels and the skin texture im using
