Description
I tried installing v3.0.0 [Waystones], but the Data Packs section of Minecraft 1.18.2 with Forge shows that the pack is "made for a newer version." The "validation (step) failed." Note that I do have the Waystones mod installed.
To Reproduce
- Download v3.0.0 [Waystones] (not the Fabric version).
- Copy the file to the Clipboard.
- Launch a Minecraft 1.18.2 Forge installation.
- Launch Minecraft, and choose Singleplayer.
- Click the New World button.
- Click the Data Packs button.
- Click the Open Pack Folder button.
- In the file directory interface that appears, paste the downloaded file that you copied in Step 2.
- Return to Minecraft, and make note of the Towers of the Wild pack in the "available" pane. It will highlighted in red with a message indicating an incompatibility problem.
- Move the pack to the "selected" pane.
- In the "are you sure" dialog, choose the Yes button.
- Click the Done button. After a few moments, a message will appear indicating that a validation process failed.
Expected behavior
I expected it to allow installation without any error messages.
