Enchantment glint on swords is abnormally bright

I just noticed that enchantment glints (specifically on swords) seems to be much brighter compared to other tools or if the texture pack was turned off. I was wondering if there was any way to make the glint appear less intense. I tried lowering glint strength in settings, but since the sword glint is considerably more intense than the other tools it still didn't fix the issue.
The issue lies in the fact that minecraft renders the glint of multiple models on top of each other.
I'll keep this under observation and check if a reasonable fix can be done. For now, the ultimate fix would be ditching the glint altogether, which might be the best way of using the resourcepack but also not what everyone wants.
Most of the time I would edit this pack for myself so that I can get the fire aspect effect on my swords. Do you know of any way to make it so the fire animation only renders on the base model so the different multiples won't overlap, or make the glint less intense for swords specifically? I heard that you could customize the enchantment glint through resource packs, but I'm not sure if it would work to make the glint less intense since I've only seen it used for changing the color of the glint.
