A Survival island I've been hospitibalizing since 2011.
Not much has changed, and yet a lot is different since the last few versions of this map. Essentially, I've been too busy with life to play. I am overjoyed to say I can make time for this game again, but there is a ton that has been updated that simply isn't here yet. As you probably know, you have to generate new blocks to get the new resources.
I don't have diamonds anywhere. There's no security. I don't have netherite and I haven't found it yet. There is no part of it that I would say is absolutely "done" and quite a few things I still plan to remove, but I needed to get the file back on a desktop so I figured I'd save it here as well. Soon, I will be able to give the map the TLC that I think it needs and I hope that people will enjoy it and explore it and make it their own. I use a lot of shaders and resource packs and the occasional cheat.
It's a game with no rules. I'm not gonna make any, and getting lost is fun. I also highly recommend checking out the seed if you want to see what it looked like before and start there. You shouldn't have to travel far in any direction to get to new areas but basically I haven't ventured far from spawn and I'm not sure how it would change, particularly when Caves and Cliffs is finished.
I usually play with BSL shaders, a "clear glass" texture pack with connected textures (so the glass in the buildings is more functional as a window) and a customized version of the "paper cut out" resource pack with a few changes.
Also, a strut around the island in frost walker boots is a good way to see what's around. This is a SSP that I started playing on v1.12, so there are a number of blocks absent from my island and the local kelp is imported. I also have not used redstone, or many of the blocks from the last few updates. I basically only /give myself: glowstone, fireworks, turtle hats, and elytra. I usually play on peaceful but I think it's a fairly safe map on any difficulty once you get used to backpedaling. ;P
