This version of the mod is for players who play in Spanish. Please use one of the other localized versions or the English one if your game is not in Spanish.
By default, if your sims visit Sulani, San Myshuno and Mt. Komorebi often, the game will generate sims to populate festivals, streets and to take part in activities.
These townies do not get their names from the same list you have in CAS (randomized) but have separate lists of culturally appropriate names. These lists are short (some only 10 names long) and you may have noticed some repetition or have grown tired of seeing the same names over and over again.
This mod expands the Japanese, Indian, Moroccan and Islander names lists with names taken from census data. It does not replace the default names, it just ads to the lists. I tried to include a decent variety of names on both lists and included some unisex names (that’s why you may encounter a name in both the female and male names lists) .
If you have an overpopulation of Japanese or Islander townies see my other mod Rebalanced Townie Generation.
I have also expanded the list of RANDOM names (the names used for non-cultural sims and for randomizing in CAS) for the English version of the names set to include more names from Armenian, Bosniak, Bulgarian, Croat, Greek, Magyar, Romanian, Slovene, Turkish backgrounds. You will see these if you play in English.
If you play in another language you can still get the ENGLISH version and see expanded cultural names but the game will use its own localized version of regular names.
I have created versions of this mod for a few other locales (if you play in Korean for example) to expand the lists of regular names for those lists as well, so if you play in Czech or Italian you get more variety for the regular names as well. Make sure to grab the version right for your language.
