I dunno if this would make the mod too complicated or if it's out of scope, but you could specify only certain crops could be allowed in a season. (Additionally, that is.)

The mod mainly works by setting the GameLocation.IsGreenhouse flag, so unfortunately per-crop settings aren't possible.
