How can I stop that annoying-to-me sound everytime ATT does pretty much anything?
Thanks, it's overall good info most of the time. Linda

There's options to turn off the sound in ATT settings. I believe it's under Audio.
Or if you're talking about the Vignette ping noise? That should be under Reporting

I don't want to turn off all sound, which is what Audio seems to be. I only want to stop the opening sound. Reporting what? Thx.

What is the ping noise? What I'm talking about is the sounds that blare out when I first open an alt, when a new flight path is found, and so on. Thanks.

What I see above is a Spanish version of ATT. Mine is all English. I have no special options at all. I have General, Interface, Features and Phases. None of which offer any Audio options at all. The version is 4.6.11 released on 9/23/2025

Click the “+” button to expand Features to reveal the Audio settings

I did click the + to expand... There are no Audio options or settings. I've been playing WoW with addons for as long as they've been available. MY English language version does not have the options shown in the Spanish version above.

@linda535 When you mentioned phases I assumed you were a classic player, what version of classic do you play so I can verify it?
because i just checked MOP classic and the setting is up too

MOP Classic v. 5.5.1.63421 Aaaand issue is resolved. For whatever reason, even though I had a "recently updated 9/23/2025" version, it looked nothing like the version you showed screenshots of - in English.
I just deleted the addon and reinstalled it and I NOW have the Features/Audio option. Version is STILL 4.6.11 as shown in the ATT General field.
No idea what caused this, but it seems to be ok now.

Ok, I'll explain what's going on here. Two different situations came together in this case.

first @linda535 For some reason, addon managers have been corrupting addons between updates. While they still work for the player, the addon is missing parts and may exhibit strange behavior or lack options. I don't know if this is the fault of the managers themselves or Curseforge. A month ago, in my case, ATT, DBM, and Big Wigs were corrupted due to an update. WowUp/WowUp.CF#99

@DFortun81 @ImUnicke second, the audio volume of audible alerts blizz make a small indie company change and is blowing out some players' eardrums with the sound alerts from addons, and just yesterday a player opened a topic/guide on Reddit so that players can mitigate this senseless change that Blizzard made with the addons. https://old.reddit.com/r/wow/comments/1nrk1fk/are_your_weak_auras_dbm_and_bigwigs_coming/

Thanks for the explanation. I'm just glad I can continue to easily use ATT without the annoying, but not dangerous sounds, lol.
