Can't change the bid price

The buyout price changes automatically when i try to change the bid price. I don't want to sell my items with a bid price of 1 copper.
Just have the option to be able to adjust the bid price without the buyot price changing.
I'm not sure what is broken here, as I can change the bid price without the buyout price changing
