In the AH window, prices are formatted like "5g 00s 00c", with each letter of denomination in the color of that denomination (gold, silver, copper). I find this format much easier and faster to read than the one used in tooltips, which would be "5" in the color gold. It's a little difficult to tell the difference between gold and silver when it's just a single number.
