What isn't working? What was supposed to happen?

Battle Pets in the guild bank only show cage icons (pic 1), shouldn't they show their own icons (pic2)?

They should show icons, but because of a Blizzard issue they won't. This issue persists when Baganator and Syndicator are disabled too.
