What problem are you experiencing that led to you asking for this feature?

I'm using baganator mostly via custom, manually managed categories and separators. Items only get put into categories if I add them to them.

As such, I have sections in my bag with categories that do not really need name labels, because their relative position in the UI is clear enough to me.

Having the labels there only wastes vertical space.

Example (excuse my german):

What solution would you like?

• for each category, have an toggle to hide its name.

• if the toggle is set, the label of the category will not be rendered, and no vertical space will be taken up by it. This might cause item icons to not line up if a category with an hidden name is rendered on the same line as a category with a shown name. Mockup:
  

• optionally, extend the feature with some of these proposals:

  • if there are multiple categories shown on the same line, and some of them do not have hidden names, ensure their item icons still line up:
    • either render an empty gap that takes up the same vertical space. Mockup:
      
    • or render a hidden name normally
  • have an extra toggle to only hide a name if it is the only category shown in a section separated by separators

No plans to add removing a category name. This is a deliberate design decision.
