What problem are you experiencing that led to you asking for this feature?

While according to #324 "Group similar items" is automatically disabled during trade, I find this is not flexible enough. In many cases I would need to "pre-split" stacks for faster trade and in some cases it takes a lot of mental juggling to open trade, then make a split in bags, then trade.

What solution would you like?

Ideally, it should be possible to pre-create splits with just bags open.
For example if I could open bags, pick 5 out of 100 items and drop it back on the bag, i should be able to have 20 stacks of 5 items each ideally.
Then when i open trade, those are already pre-created.

Of course pre-created splits would be gone if i pressed "sort" or had "sort on open" enabled.

Any alternatives you can think of?

Easier access to "toggle group identical items" maybe from the bags interface itself?

You can already split items while "Group identical items" is enabled, it just won't display them until the group identical items is turned off.

I see. Would it be possible to make them show in a split mode with a shortkey/keybind of sort?
For example, if holding "alt" or "shift" then it disables grouping. Releasing a keybind - turns it back on? this way one can quickly see stacks when needed.

That's not something I'm looking to add.
