What problem are you experiencing that led to you asking for this feature?

The default layout options for Categorized bags is not intuitive for displaying recently split stacks, requiring you to toggle between the different settings (Single Bag view or unchecking Group identical items) in the options to display them.

While in a raid distributing 1-2 consumables from stacks of 5 or 20, such as Flasks, food, and pots to attendees, it forces you to disable the "Group identical items" option to easily hand out the items.

I have also had to repeatedly assist guildmates on how to enable displaying their stacks for similar reasons.

What solution would you like?

The ability to quickly display split stacks while other items like Ammo and non-recently split items remain grouped.

Any alternatives you can think of?

Please explain how you are using your own addon to display the split stacks, maybe I am missing something.

Previously posted as #448 but it was closed as "not planned" while the issue persists.

The point of the option for "Group identical items" is to make the stack splits visible for those who require it.

I use the functionality that causes it to auto-ungroup when at a bank, or when opening a trade window to cover the gaps.

Thank you for your response, the issue is that the auto-ungroup feature is not available in this situation since you're not opening trade, mailbox, or bank and there's no ability to quickly toggle to the ungrouped view to find the desired stack to drag & drop on to others to initiate the trade.
Effectively expressing a desire to have the ability to quickly see the stacks on-demand, similar to the category assignment with keybind feature, as opposed to an all or nothing approach that it is now.
