The thingy with the guild bank display brought me to another thing:

Somehow the Void Storage is completely missing in Baganator.

This could have two reasons:

  • The early state of the addon, and it will come later.
  • You do not consider the Void Storage worthy to be part of an inventory summary.

If it is the latter, I would like to let you know that void storage can indeed and absolutely be a part and necessary part of having comprehensive information about available inventory.

I am a heavy pet trader, and the typical Void Storage of a secondary/tertiary toon (aka assistant banker) looks like this:1

As you can see, this is important when I'm looking for pets to restock the AH toons.

  1. You cannot store caged pets in the VS, but you can store the pet 'installer' items ("teaches you how to summon…"), as long as they're soulbound and non-unique. ↩

Wasn't planning to add void storage initially as I didn't know of any use cases for it. Now that I know it has a use case I'll consider it for a later feature.

That's what I suspected ;) Most people are using it only for old (historical) gear/items.

Got working void storage tracking. Can you test this build (after backing up your Baganator saved variables) and report how it goes?

Only tested on one toon, but seems to work. The database survived it too ;)

Will report back if I encounter problems after various toons have populated the void storage cache.
