What problem are you experiencing that led to you asking for this feature?

The new bank system in 11.2.0 has made it harder to see how things are organized in your bank in the Everything view.

This was already the case for the warband bank, but now it's everywhere.

What solution would you like?

If you have a profession-bag equipped in your player bags, or in pre-11.2.0 banks, it splits the slots out into their own grouping like so:

This same treatment could be applied to groups of tabs with the same depositFlags. (Or to Classic banks with bags that have the right-click-to-assign-groups feature used, if it's enabled there? I'm not sure.)

Any alternatives you can think of?

You could reasonably-enough say that the existing categories-view fills this requirement. I personally prefer the more-freeform bank slots, but that's admittedly a matter of taste.

With the new bank setup, I would really like to manually manage my bank, and have the addon continue to manage my bags.
I have only been back on retail a couple of weeks, and only using this for a week, and was waiting for this patch to do a full cleanup of my bank/storage. I love this for my bags, but if it's going to keep messing with the bank, that feels like it's going to be painful.

I assume you use categories for bags and want single bag for bank? you can do that by changing bank view in Baganator layout settings, then you can manually move things around like default

Related to this (or maybe the same problem): when you sort stuff in the bank, it currently ignores slot restrictions, which makes reagents go all over the place, and other items go in the reagent slots.

I tried all options, it doesn't work. Besides, when sorting as "Blizzard", reverse order also doesn't work.

@arctikstorm The Blizzard sort is the one to use if you want the Blizzard deposit preferences to affect sorting. That it doesn't support reverse order is because Blizzard never implemented it for it.

What I meant is that the depositing preferences are being ignored, no matter which option I choose, including "Blizzard" (reverse or no reverse).

You sure you set the tab to reagents? it's going into this tab for me no issues even if I have another tab open, maybe try disabling all other addons and see if it then works

Yes, depositing works fine, reagents go into the reagent-assigned slot. But when sorting (with "everything slot" open), everything gets mixed together and doesn't follow the restrictions. I only have Baganator and Syndicator active.

Weird, it works for me when I use Blizzard sort method

The new version of BankStack that's going out right now (v2025.4) will respect the Blizzard deposit preferences, if you want to give that a go.

Which, taking it back to my original reason for making this ticket @plusmouse, would be a lot more visually pleasing if the bags were split out in the Everything view. 😉
