Bags Lock won't open

Having a constant issue after the recent update to Bagnon (5.1.2) through curseclient.
My bags "lock up" after being opened and closed. I use "Shift + B" to open all bags. I do a lot of opening mails, sending mails, throwing things in ah. I've noticed that after opening and closing my bags, there are times when I notice the bar with my bags have a yellow boarder around them indicating that my bags are opened. However, my bags are not actually open, there is nothing on my screen. When this happens, you can not Open your bags, or remove the yellow boarder around the bags to make it "closed." In order to fix this, I have to spam my Shift + B button to make the yellow boarder go away to indicate that bags are closed and then I will be able to reopen the bags like normal, until the next lock up. Takes about 15-20 spam of the hotkey to get the issue fixed.

How to reproduce? Don't know, it just happens. Only started happening after updating to 5.1.2, and happens very very very frequently.

Hoping to bump this up on the list, I've been having this issue since 5.1.1 as well. I'm slowly working through other add-ons to see if there's a conflict, if everyone was having this issue I'm assuming it would have been fixed by now but the Bagnon version change is what triggers it.

Still seeing this problem with version 5.2.3. I hardly have any other addons installed. It's happened to my bank bags as well and the only way to fix that is to reload the UI.

Still seeing it but so far every time I've hit Esc to get out of
wherever I am (mailbox only at this point), it's always immediately
opened afterward when I've gone into the mailbox again.  May be a
fluke, may be an improvement.  I'll follow up again if I see
anything more definitive.  I'd have to guess that the code changes
that "Fixed bug with option to close inventory when leaving vendor."
in 5.1.2 is what caused the issue, though, I wasn't having an issue
before that, I have been in every version since.  Possibly fixing
that broke every other scenario.  I've always been able to fix it by
spamming B and it'll eventually open (10-40 hits).

Yes I am still having this problem now, haven't tried the spam to get them open, will do that now, I have just been closing WoW every time I have the error, EXTREMELY annoying, but at least this spam fix might help me temporarily.

commented

I'm still unable to verify this issue. @doxxx, does the bug persist if you disable all other mods?

commented

@Ahlforn, do you have any auction or mail related addon installed?

commented

yes i can confirm this exact behavior, actually im here because of this. I also was trying to find exact pattern when it happens but wasnt able, just happens more oftern when putting lots of crap on ah with alt-click shortcut with auctionator addon.
installing 5.1.1 solves the problem however 5.1.1 also stays with highlighted bags after exiting AH sometimes, but it behaves properly after 1 hit of "B" button. 5.1.2 in such situation needs epic spamming of "B" to return to normal - like 20-30 times

I can confirm this bug. While I don't actually have the default bag icons, I can't tell if my bag icons have yellow border, but I also have to spam the key I have assigned to my bags in order for my bags open.

This occur especially when I do the whole mail to and from AH routine.

I have to reload my interface after every fight because of this bug.. When i used bagnon in combat, it stops working (at the search box or when i closed it) .. After that i cant open it anymore.
Please fix this, it's a nightmare

I also have this problem, and the wife's started getting it too, I don't AH much, my problems occur out in the world, but Esc usually closes it, but getting it to open again is another matter. Just saw the Shift B spam comment, will have to try it. I have no actual mail add-ons, but I do run altoholic and a bunch of other add-ons, but no others related to my inventory. Instead of restarting, I just /reload which usually fixes it for a while.

@nmelcer: Blizzard issue

commented

The only add-ons I share with nmelcer are threat plates, DBM and bagnon. My wife and son don't run threat plates and have bagnon, but experience the problem, my friend doesn't run bagnon, and hasn't had this issue.

commented

I'm near ready to replace bagnon after 3 years of use because of this; if i ever accidentally or intentionally open bagnon in combat, bagnon breaks until reload.

commented

Hmm, we should probably initialize the inventory frame at startup, instead of load on demand. I guess this is a combat lockdown issue.

commented

FIXED MINE!! had the same problem, never had it before. It started a few days ago after screwing with baggon. I FIXED IT BY setting the occupancy above 80%. It seems wow just refuses to load it because its alpha transparencies are to complex with lower than 80% occupancy. GL! I hope this works for everyone else.
