I am constantly clicking on the game screen and moving the cursor to play (like to change my camera angle as just one example). But if I have my bags open, sometimes (a LOT) I accidentally click a bag item (if that was where my cursor was) and then when I move the cursor I am dragging the item around in my bags or out to the main screen. I find this behavior very, very frustrating and I have lost, vendored or destroyed many bag items due to these unintentional movements.

It seems like a simple "Lock Items In Bags" feature would fix this. Make it just like the lock for the Action bars, so one has to hold Shift to drag items around in or out of your bags. Perhaps you would have to add a "click-through when locked" feature as well, to also get the interface behavior I am wanting, I dunno. This "bag item lock" should not affect ADDING items to your bags, like looting or trade and so forth, just moving items that are in your bags.

Put the checkbox/lock toggle icon for this in the bags window, so when you want to play with your bag inventory your can easily turn the Bag Item Lock off and on.

You could add customization features...

1. what key is the quick 'unlock' (if a user doesn't like Shift)?
2. have Caps Lock option as a way to disable the Bag Item Lock when bags are open, to move items (goes with Shift)?
3. individual bag settings so a user can have locked bags and unlocked bags (with custom backgrounds or borders)?
4. have an option to make this an individual item bag-lock?

But I just want a Bagnon feature so I stop accidentally dragging things around in, and out of, my bags when I am playing with my bag window open. Please!!!!
