This is not and issue. Its a request but I could not find a place for it. Could you please find a way to lock one of the boxes so if i put something in it i dont want to lose. I want to carry my third piece of tier in my bag so if i get the forth in a run i can put them both on but i am very afraid i will de or sell it.
You can see the reason i want this but there are a few items i would like to be able to do it for.

Ive been recently looking for the same feature, Seems its been years and still no info or implementation on it. Is it possible to have the feature above? Have a item in a box inside Bagnon and then press ALT or CRTL + a mouse click or something to lock it in place, then when you click auto sort it doesnt move those locked items. The best way to explain this is the game Lost Ark, does exactly this. Lock a item in anybox, auto sort that lock item doesn't move. Thank you!

First, I love Bagnon, I wouldn't use any other bag addon.
Ideally, Bagnon would perform this simple task. But after many years of requests, I doubt it'll happen.
There's a small, mostly overlooked, addon -- with very few downloads, but a responsive developer -- that can do this and has compatibility with Bagnon and other bag addons: ItemLock

My hope is that the functionality will be added to Bagnon eventually.

it could be all of a 20 slot bag or 5 to a bag it would just be nice to have some slots that lock and wont let you delete or disenchant or put in the bank

What I'm personally interested in is "locking" an item on a specific slot, for example I want to lock my mount, skinning knife, hearthstone etc (all the things I would want to always keep in the same slot in my bags) so when auto-sorting those items would be skipped.
From looking at the documentation for sorting and rulesets seems easy enough. I've never developed addons, but if there's a way to somehow store relevant data (such as an array of item ids with bag+slot(?) - not sure.
I have been thinking about this for a while, now seeing that there might be some demand for this functionality I might give it a try one of these weekends.
Any tips/pointers would be appreciated, addon noob here.
