Describe the problem

The minimap buttons for mail and bg, dont stay where u move them after a reload or change of zone

on wow SoD, 1.15 client

Then you most likely have another addon moving them. Try disabling all your addons except BasicMinimap, does it work then?

If it does, gradually re-enable your addons until you find the culprit, and let us know what caused it.

Oh yea it was leatrix plus minimap options, i disabled them, its working now, thanks.

However I found more problems (dont know if to open a new issue or comment here)

1 - some addon minimap-icons do not "adjust to the edge" when i scale the basicminimap addon (for example trinketmenu and battleground targets classic): they get fixed around a smaller "invisible edge" instead of the new edge of the map, if u know what i mean

2- after /reload , the button for "LFG Bulletin board" goes back some distance to the middle of the map even if i put it at the border:
IWztNgV

3- the "party position arrows", are very inside the map, not on borders:
0iSmt74
(I scaled the map to my liking - dont know if this is intented behaviour - any way to move them closer to the edge? )

4- many icons do not hide when using "hide buttons option"

thanks and sorry for all the trouble :)

  1. Addons that use custom code to create their minimap buttons are not supported and never will be. If you want them to be supported, ask their authors to move from custom code to the "LibDBIcon" universal library which virtually every addon uses now to be compatible with each other.

  2. Same as 1.

  3. I'm not even sure how you are getting all those arrows, so I'm going to assume it's an addon drawing them incorrectly. Once again I ask that you disable your other addons.
Below is an example of my minimap on classic, scaled up, showing the Questie loot bags correctly at the edge of the map.

  4. Same as 1.
