Is the project abandoned? Any chances to get a working version?

I would have to assume so, considering the latest modifications Torhal has done still doesn't work properly.

I'm still using a modified version of 9.0.2.1, where I comment out lines 761-765 in file Broker_Currency.lua, then manually add new currencies to the Currencies.lua file as they are released.

Can you share the working version?

I only add new currencies (that I feel relevant to me personally, mostly ignoring pvp stuff) to the list in Currencies.lua at line 113 (keeping it by numerical order) & line 219.

Does anyone know if there is a way to add new currency groups?? I'd like to rearrange the currencies for my own usage, but every time I try to add a new group, the config options disappear

Not that I am aware, but I have also only been adding new currencies organised in alphabetical order under "MISCELLANEOUS_CURRENCY_IDS" or under "ITEM_CURRENCY_IDS" (and item ID's organised in numerical order under "CURRENCY_IDS_BY_NAME") to the old version I have.

Unfortunately, I can't help you there as I haven't attempted to add new currency groups to it. :(

That's what I have been doing up until now as well, just that the MISC category is starting to overwhelm me with how much is there. Totally a me issue, just trying to figure it out.
