Currently if you enter combat for various reasons you can't use anything whereas they work fine if clicked manually (actionbar, toy box, bags or the spellbook). I assume this is due to some protected function not bypassable by any means?

And if not, and if you need examples for why this might be handy: You enter combat and have to reset some boss or mob because they bugged out somewhere because you want to port out or want to reset them for an achievement.
