Is it possible to implement multi-line notes?

For now, only a single line is available. I'd like to use new lines for better formatting of longer character notes.

Unrealted question: is this addon still in development?

Idea: a further addition then would be coloring those lines in a tooltip depending on the first character of a line, like:
