I am fully specced into potion spillover, and want to simulate profits with the buff active. I click the 'craft buffs' button, and I want to simulate buffs, but it is greyed out/the button does nothing.

Seems like a broken button, unless that is supposed to do something else?

Is that to say that this is a feature not possible to use with recipe scan? Definitely not working as expected, I figured enabling the buff simulation would be something I could use with recipe scan to ensure my items are profitable when crafting >10 potions/flasks, etc.

all modules are referencing the currently open recipe in your crafting ui

recipe scan uses only the recipe scan options that are accessed via options button besides the scan button

an option to include buffs in recipe scan is planned for a future update

Okay, great, thank you for that background and explanation! In my mind when I saw the feature to simulate buffs, I figured it was for the purpose of recipe scan. I do want to ask though, why would the logic exist to check profession talent trees, and not auto-apply the buffs that you are talented in to? Seems like it would make sense to be a default.
