Some minor GUI bugs

Describe the bug

  1. A couple of minor GUI bugs, tested on a fresh DBM install with the UI resolution at 800x600.
  2. Differences in settings on a fresh DBM install different vs "Reset to default" settings. Not sure if bug is purely visual, or actually affects function.
