Hope to Provide Targeted New Features for Bigwigs' Limitations

I am not a native English speaker, and the following translation is from GPT. I hope DBM continues to improve. As an experienced player and raid leader, after using DBM and BW for a long time, I hope DBM can consider improvements in the following areas. I believe these will greatly enhance its competitiveness.

As mentioned in Issue 1326, I hope this feature is given more attention. Ovinax is a typical example. Just imagine, if there were import/export features for the overall configuration and an online configuration sharing function, RLs could easily unify the raid's setup, ensuring an early lead and preventing situations where many RLs require the entire raid to switch to Bigwigs.
So, I hope you can quickly provide import/export for core and other submodules' configurations, as well as a configuration sharing feature. -
Enhancing the Nameplate icon feature. This is probably the most complained about feature among Bigwigs users recently. To promote this feature, BW even removed the global disable option.
To be honest, when using both DBM and BW, I disabled this feature because neither of them is as useful as the current WeakAura implementations:

Regarding DBM's version, the biggest issue I encountered was that it doesn't start timing when a teammate enters combat, but only when I enter combat myself, which causes inaccurate CD timers. Also, after the trash mob dies, the timer for it keeps running. However, Spell CDs on Nameplate doesn't have these issues.
For Bigwigs, aside from the lack of a global disable option, there's another problem: the icon layer is too high, covering the enemy's health bar, which is very problematic, so no one uses it.
I'm not sure if DBM's version of this feature has improved these issues, so please refer to this for comparison. -
Regarding the setup of ability-related sounds. The current setup is not very intuitive. I hope there can be a redesign of the options interface for this feature. It would be great if players could clearly see which sound is used for each ability, with a preview option. It would be even better if there were an option to modify the sounds.
Thank you.

dbm already has profile sharing (import and export), it also has an option specifically for that boss that lets raid leaders AUTOMATICALLY overrides settings for entire raid. I feel a lot of misinformation has been spread about this boss in online circles. Such as saying DBM is not compatible with BW (it is, with default settings, but also has overrides to use more color blind friendly icons, or no icons for those choosing to use weak auras instead). it's basically one of the most customizable options in entire raid, and all sharable via profiles import/export

dbm already has initial timers and they should work for ANYONE in group entering combat. it checks combat bitflags of entire group. When I tested it, it had no issues starting timers when others entered combat. it checks every possible event for any group member entering combat and at worst in my testing only had up to 1 second delay detecting further away combat. I an going to make a coding change anyways though to maybe add protections to possible race condition where combat flags change and are checked in same frame, causing the check to return false for combat, by adding a 0.1sec delay to check
I'm not sure what else is missing that weak auras do. if any timers are missing, users need but ask and usually added within minutes. Also timers should not keep running when mob dies either. If it happens (and that's rarely) it's usually a bug and fixed immediately. if you have any specific examples that still do this it'd be again fixed within minutes of report. there was also a problem where some weak auras incorrectly showed nameplate timers as actual timers, that was addressed by using different callbacks few weeks ago. -
you can modify any sound for any warning in game via sound drop down. no you can't preview the TTS (voice pack) sounds but you can change it to any custom sound available to entirety of libsharedmedia.
I feel most of these reports seem based on just not actually finding related options or not giving any actual bug reports or feedbacks sooner, or just basing it out of old experiences with DBM
also, we STRONGLy disagree with forcing namplate icons to be on with no toggle off like BW does, because we DO believe users have the right to choose to use ours or someone elses (such as weak auras).
One big failing for us though, was not on our end, is that we've had this feature since first season of dragonflight, but anyone using plater didn't know that, cause plater overrided setting to be OFF by default until recently. I convinced them to change this though because it lead users to believe DBM did not have feature at all, or even think BW had it first and it tainted our reputation because users didn't know we've had feature for a year and a half now in M+. Plater got on board with option being on by default but it still made users think it's a new feature, but at least now they KNOW DBM has it. For non plater users, DBM has had feature on by default since season 2 of dragon flight.
