on case-sensitive operating systems/filesystems this might not be an issue but on Windows even if the filesystem is case-sensitive, the OS still treats accessing these as case-insensitive (more exactly as case-preserving) unless case-sensitivity is enabled for a folder

Note: full case-sensitivity can be enabled in Windows 10 for a folder (or entire drive?), but only if the linux subsystem is installed.
