the Bars option to expand upwards is not saving after each logout/exit

Do you have an error log of what happened?

No errors from DBM

To Reproduce

1. Login toon
2. Check the checkbox for "Expand upwards" on both small and big bars
3. Logout or Exit game (I have tried this both on rested and non rested areas)
4. Login to same toon
5. Settings revert to having "Expand upwards" unchecked

Did you try having DeadlyBossMods as the only enabled addon and everything else (especially something like ElvUI) disabled?

Which version of DeadlyBossMods are you using?
DBM Version: DBM-Core-8.2.25

Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?
Yes, don't know which one as I was hoping it would resolve by itself in due time

Additional context
Have tried reinstalling and deleting local saved settings. It seems that other features are saving properly, just this one that's not.

I cannot reproduce this. It saves fine for me. Furthermore, there have been no changes to this code, since it was added, ever. If it worked in a previous version then it should work in this one since code is the same. I'm leaning on a 3rd party mod altering the option for you because it skins DBM timers in some way or another.

Was able to narrow it down to the addon that was causing this.
It's "nibRealUI_BossSkins" for those having the same issue.
