Newest update enabled an unwanted setting

After the recent update(s) I suddenly found myself deleting a bunch of grey items that I normally auto-sell to vendors when visiting them.
I found out the hard way, as I just instinctively started SHIFT+Right-clicking the minimap button as I usually do, to delete the items I have on my list. But this time it also started deleting all greys in my inventory, which I had never enabled before.
Can you please push an update that makes sure this setting doesn't get enabled by itself after an update? Hovering over the setting it even warns the user that they should be careful with that setting, so it's a bit odd that it's suddenly enabled after an update.
This time I was lucky that I hadn't emptied out my auction house listings, as that includes A LOT of grey cosmetic items that people sometimes buy for good money on AH.. had those been deleted, they would be unrecoverable as Blizzards recovery service doesn't cover white and grey items. That's a potential loss of hundreds of thousands of gold.
That's unfortunate. This setting is new (it replaces the old Include Poor Items
option), and it defaults to on with poor quality enabled, so that's the reason why it happened.
There may have been a way for me to merge the old setting of Include Poor Items
into this new one, but it didn't cross my mind. Hindsight is 20/20...
Sorry for causing you to lose some items.
For the next update, I may modify the minimap icon to require Alt + Right-Click
to delete items (instead of Shift + Right-Click
), this will allow showing the next item to be deleted in the tooltip when the modifier key is held. For example:
This should give more visibility to what will actually get deleted next.
