I've had a couple of windows grouped pretty much forever but decided I wanted them separated, I found the Disable Grouping option and made sure it was enabled for both windows but they're still moving together, I can't figure out how to get them to separate.

Disable grouping disables new grouping. You're looking for the Ungroup/Degroup button under the Display section in the Details! options
