Right clicking a bar when editing it resets the number of columns to 1

It doesn't happen consistently but does happen occasionally, enter dominos edit mode right click a bar (with columns > 1) to edit it, the number of columns gets reset to 1.
EDIT: should probably note that it's not a new issue, and has been happening during Shadowlands as well.
