I made an addon, LFGEnhanced, which adds automatic scanning for group candidates using whatever your current entry's search criteria are, and alerts you with a sound when a candidate shows up in the results that fills a role in your group. I don't currently have it published outside of Github, but I think its feature set would be a good for this addon too.
