The recent patch does not work with Elvui. When changing settings, it does not save. UI is messed up. Profiles are erased and some people are reporting that Elvui enhanced is doing a fresh install of Elvui.

Hi, could you check your ElvUI version? With 10.53 and up i've no problems

I have tried ElvUI version 10.53 and the most recent one 10.54. I am still having the issue. Here is a forum post about it: http://www.tukui.org/forums/topic.php?id=39578

I've got the feeling the problem is nog directly related to ElvUI Enhanced. You could try to delete everything related to ElvUI Enhanced including the ElvUI.lua file (make a backup). Our just backup the WTF folder and remove it altogether.

Also people without ElvUI Enhanced are reporting the problems in the TukUI forums.

Alright, I'll try what you said but the people that are having issues are reporting by turning off Elvui Enhanced, it fixes the problem.

So, you deleted your WTF folder and just loaded ElvUI, ElvUI_Config and ElvUI enhanced? And still could not save setttings?

Sorry, I am only not able to save settings when Elvui enhanced is turned on. Deleting it or turning it off fixes the problem. Doing what you told me to do does not fix it.

Strange, where did you download the ElvUI_Enhanced_Again, curse of tukui? And what version are you on? It's hard to fix something you can't reproduce.

First of all, thanks for a great addon! I have been doing a lot of work with this as i have tons of addons and had exactly the same problem of it losing profiles and looping the elvui set up. I can confirm this is NOTHING to do with your addon.

Here is how i fixed it:

Install old backup of WTF folder into wow
Delete elvui enhanced
Run wow (all was back to normal)
Export all elvui profile info from within elvui interface
Exit wow and delete elvui and elvui enhanced
Delete all elvui data from saved variables folders

Install fresh copy of elvui and elvui enhanced
import all profile data back into elvui

Everything works 100% including your addon.

I ended up fixing it. I ended up deleting the wtf folder again. Deleted Elvui and Elvui Enhanced. Installed a fresh copy and I just copied over my settings. As for my other addons, I just copied the saved variables folder except for the Elvu files, to restore my addon settings and everything works. Something is wrong with the WTF folder that was causing the issue.
