Item level not Working - Paperdoll.lua error

whenever I mouseover the Item lvl that I put on Location Plus Bar I get this error and it does not show me the various pieces of my Gear. I Hope you can help

Getting the same. Changing line 58 of modules/datatexts/itemlevel.lua from
itemLevel = PD:GetItemLevel("player", itemLink)
to
itemLevel = PD:GetItemLevel("player", i)
fixes it, though it doesn't seem like this file has changed in 2 years according to github, so not sure why it broke now.
Edit: Turns out this isn't a real fix. It gets rid of the error, and the datatext matches my profile number, but the tooltip values don't match for all of my equipment. I'm honestly not sure I ever used the tooltip on this, I have another datatext with more info for that, I just liked having my average displayed which worked without error until the patch. For now I just used this instead, its long winded but seems to work fine atleast for me
