There was a great addon called Trade Log Unlimited that announced when you traded items.
I messaged the creator and got no response. He hasn't been active in months. This was never officially updated for TBC.
Love to pull in this functionality.

Items traded could be a list, and should include quantities. Also good if it has things like Enchanted, or Picked Lock.
