[1.7.2] International character set support in configuration is broken

The following configuration in cyrillic characters won't work.

GWc:МежгильдейскийКанал:Рубероид
GWp:НеРеальные-Галакронд:НЕР
GWp:Ривенделл-Галакронд:РИВ

It appears the issue is the pattern matching used by gw.GlobalName.
