in the latest version of GSE, my macros will only work if you go into OPTIONS, TROUBLESHOOTING and then make sure the last box about keypressing is ticked.
This works, but every time I log out and come back the box is unticked again.
Can we have it so it stays ticked please??

Yes - disable ElvUI. ElvUI is unsettling this on login in its auras.lua file on line 544 so removing Elv will fix your issue.

if you don’t want to stop using ElvUI then you need to follow the information in https://github.com/TimothyLuke/GSE-Advanced-Macro-Compiler/wiki/ActionButtonKeyDown-or-ActionButtonKeyUp-and-Why-this-matters---Macro-Cycling-not-firing and change hownGSE works accordingly.

To add some context this setting is a WoW setting not a GSE setting. It affects how all of your action bars are configured.
