[BUG] Macro stopped working after changing chars

πŸ”΅ Describe the bug:
I have been using Elfyau EA_FD_OB macro for the last week without issue on my feral druid. I have not made any changes to it.

Tonight I switched to my warlock, which gave me mod conflicts with Elvui, which I haven't been using, so I disabled it. When I switched back to my Feral Druid, the macro no longer functioned, as if nothing worked. Simple example is the macro would put me in prowl when out of combat and not on cool down, but it did not do it now.

I disabled all other addons, except the GSE ones (macro compiler, gui, ldb), and the GSE Elfyau ones. I also completely exited the game, and tried again with only this mod, same thing. I also tried some other Elfyau macros, and same issue, not working.

The debugger for EA_FD_OB macro says:

EA_FD_OB,2,Prowl from castsequence prowl (item 1 in castsequence.) . Able to Cast,Resources Available, GCD Free, Not actively casting anything else.

But Prowl is never activated. Also other abilities don't seem to be cast/activated either. Nothing seems to work.

Note, that I didn't change anything, just switch characters. Possibly other addon affected it, but it still doesn't work with only the GSE addons enabled.

πŸ”΅ To reproduce: (Steps to reproduce the behavior)

  1. Load a Feral Druid that has prowl capability
  2. Create the icon and map the EA_FD_OB macro
  3. Not be in combat, and prowl not on cool down.
  4. Activate the macro. (Multiple tries don't work either.)
  5. Notice Prowl is not activated.

πŸ”΅ The error:
No error message

πŸ”΅ Screenshots:
Not needed.

πŸ”΅ Expected behavior:
As is GSE is not working at all for me. So is this a global issue, or is it just my configuration? If it is me, or global, how can I reset this, as it worked fine until now.

πŸ”΅ GSE.lua file:
Please provide your GSE.lua file or the export string for the specific macro that is causing an issue.

  • To find the GSE.lua file:
  1. First, make sure you have enabled the "File Name Extensions" checkbox in Explorer (View tab)
  2. Browse to C:\path\to\wow\_retail_\WTF\Account\YourAccountName\SavedVariables\ or /path/to/WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/YourAccountName/SavedVariables
  3. Copy the GSE.lua file to your Desktop
  4. Rename this copy to GSA.lua.txt
  5. Then just drag it here in your message
  • Note: If you do not include your GSE.lua file you are wasting your time and mine. 90% of the time, the first thing I will ask for is "Can you please upload your GSE.lua file?". This file is needed with the error to work out Why that error occured for you.

πŸ”΅ Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit
  • Game Version retail, 10.0.0.46455

This isn’t a GSE bug but you have server variables that matter now. See https://github.com/TimothyLuke/GSE-Advanced-Macro-Compiler/wiki/ActionButtonKeyDown-or-ActionButtonKeyUp-and-Why-this-matters---Macro-Cycling-not-firing

you are going to need to make some decisions about how you run your macros.
