Hovering GSE Minimap Button Bar icon using ELVUI is missing the hidetooltip() when exiting the icon to the bottom
🔵 To reproduce: (Steps to reproduce the behavior)
Hover over GSE Minimap icon and just pull your mouse straight down.

For the tooltip to go away when if i leave the boundaries of the tooltip or when not hovering the icon anymore.

Would also love the addition of GSE to the ELV UI icon bag on the mid right.
The issue is when you exit from a submenu of LibQTip. GSE doesn't know about what happens after you show the tooltip. All the things inside aren’t from GSE and GSE can’t clean them up.
You could add an delay before the tooltip shows up to temp fix it. Even 2s would fix most problems.
No I can’t. I have no control over that it’s all in the library. It’s also about where you exit the tooltip and not everywhere. It happens when you exit from a place that has a submenu.
I'm sorry to be so direct, but your button is the only one having this problem out of the 50 addons i have installed, 15 with a button on the mini map. And yes many of them have tooltip style menues.
And I’ve been fighting with the trade off of that vs the functionality needed from it for the last 8 years. There are some things that I simply don’t have the knowledge to solve.
For people not using Elv, it being called from Dragonflights Icon Drawer rather than on the minimap solved it for them. I don’t use Elv personally so not sure what you do there. You can always turn the minimap icon off.
