🔵 Describe the bug:
if i use helpfull spells with mouseover on nameplates nothing happens
if i use the same over character models it works fine
testet if with multiple classes and sequences from different creators, all have the same outcome
doesnt work on nameplates, work without problems on character models
🔵 To reproduce: (Steps to reproduce the behavior)
- choose healing sequence from wowlazymacros page or discord
- import it
- bind it to a button
- use it over nameplates
- use it over charaktermodels
🔵 Screenshots:
if u use that macro like normal it works on nameplate, character models
if i use the same thing with GSE it dont work on nameplates anymore only on charactere models
🔵 Expected behavior:
the sequence should work on nameplates too
🔵 GSE.lua file:
GSA.lua.txt
🔵 Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11 Home
- Game Version: Retail 11.0.7.58533
🔵 GSE Version:
- Version: 11.0.7
- Downloaded From: CurseForge App
🔵 Additional context:
if you need to contact me you can do this via discord: krijon
GSE doesn’t execute any of these commands - it simply sends them to WoW and WoW chooses what it will do. This is a bug with WoW’s Macrotext provider and not something that GSE can fix or overcome.
You may be able to overcome this by adding the [help] modifier to that list but either it will work or it won’t.
From the wiki: if it must work don’t use castsequence with GSE. https://github.com/TimothyLuke/GSE-Advanced-Macro-Compiler/wiki/Understanding--castsequence#having-read-all-this-why-doesnt-castsequence-do-x-when-its-supposed-to
