1. First, make sure you have enabled the "File Name Extensions" checkbox in Explorer (View tab)
2. Browse to C:\path\to\wow\_retail_\WTF\Account\YourAccountName\SavedVariables\ or /path/to/WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/YourAccountName/SavedVariables
3. Copy the GSE.lua file to your Desktop
4. Rename this copy to GSA.lua.txt
5. Then just drag it here in your message

• Note: If you do not include your GSE.lua file you are wasting your time and mine. 90% of the time, the first thing I will ask for is "Can you please upload your GSE.lua file?". This file is needed with the error to work out Why that error occured for you.

he can not keybinding with new version. have the same problem and change to last version

And yet I can with the new version. So I need more information like all the missing stuff from the template.

In my case, when I tried to bind a different macro, it wouldn't save it. Even if I deleted the keybinding, it continued to use the old macro.

I can only tell you what happened to me.

I can confirm that I cannot make a new keybind or change an existing keybind with this new build. Under previous versions (eg GSE 3.2.31-PatronBuild) I can change my two most frequently used keybinds (the "-" and "=" keys) to whatever sequence I want. With version GSE-3.2.31-3-g037165c-PatronBuild changing the keybind still results in the "old" keybind remaining bound even when I save, reload or relog. Even if I delete the keybind, then reload or relog, the "old" keybind still fires even though it no longer appears on the keybind list. I have hopefully attached the lua file as suggested.

This happens with all my characters and is fixed by reverting to GSE version 3.2.31. Hope this helps and thanks again for all your work with this

This should be expected and is exactly how it works. Deleting a keybind in GSE doesn’t remove it from the WoW cache of keybinds. It just stops GSE setting it when you login or change talents or spec. It will remain bound at WoW’s end till you bind the same key to something else in another mods keybinds or WoW’s keybinds in options.

Even with your setup I can’t replicate that. Are you playing in a different language to English?

No Tim, I'm playing in English. I've got screenshots but not sure how that would help as they just show the keybind screen with the new or changed keybind "not happening." Let me know if there is any other information I can give you

Unfortunately there is something different between you setups and mine and until we can identify what that is I can’t fix the problem.

Does changing the CVar ActionButtonUseKeyDown from true to false change anything for you? As I only use a Actionbar overrides except when testing I have this set to false.

No, that doesn't seem to have any effect. I wonder if how I'm installing the various versions is having an impact? I normally open the retail.interface.addons directory and delete the GSE folders from there, then copy the new ones in. Do I need to delete anything else before copying the new stuff?

Thanks for continuing to try to sort this out. I can confirm that I have tried loading the default settings in all the options on the WoW interface "Options" and disabled ALL addons apart from GSE - I am still not able to save a new keybinding or adjust an existing one with the GSE-3.2.31.3-g037165c-PatronBuild.

Np will keep digging.

There is now a 3.2.31-4 that should solve this.
