GSE2 macros stopped functioning

I have even disabled all other addons reloaded UI, deleted then tried to recreate marcos (which also does not clean up but does not allow me to create anything. I checked wow folder permissions, it is not that.... something really broken in last release, no errors back to chat either, options button does not open a dialog.... this is on windows 10 and running wow off a diff disk so not ULA either.
Worked great before last curse update... will try and roll back.
You have a corrupt macro in your GSE.lua The details on how to fix this are on the Wowlazymacros.com site. Look for "one cause of options ...". I'm on a phone ATM or I'd send through a proper link.
