Macro Plugin authors have requested the ability to mark a macro as not able to be updated and not able to be exported.

This would work in that there would be a spot on the export page to be able to export as Read Only. If someone then imports that macro, they would have no access to the editor and not be able to re-export it. If they then imported a new copy of that macro it would automatically overwrite. You could then use the Plugin Shell to release a collection of macros (like the old HP plugin) that when you released an update would automatically update the macro.
